1. Explore the DVD. In the "Garmin_RMU_CNNANT2010\IMG folder, launch CNNANT2010Update_ENU.msi.

2. Install in the default directory if you wish.

After install is finished, the maps are installed at:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps

You will have to unhide hidden files and system files to see this. If you don't know how to do this,
forget doing this whole procedure.

To Convert New Map Format to Old IMG Format:

3. Create a new folder in c:\garmin called CNNANT2010.20.

4. In the DVD, in the "Post Installation Procedures" folder, inside the "convert gmp to img" folder,
copy conv615.bat, gmt.exe and cmd.exe to where garmin installed the new maps in step 2.
(C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\garmin\maps.....)

5. Right click on cmd.exe and click on properties.

6. In the "Start In" box, copy and paste the explorer address of where the new maps are installed.
(It should begin with c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\garmin\maps........)

7. Click OK and close the properties window.

8. Launch cmd.exe.

9. Type conv615.bat [space] [c:\garmin\CNNANT2010.20]. Ignore the brackets and be sure to include the space.
This will take a few minutes to convert.

10. In c:\garmin, delete mapsource.exe.

11. In the DVD, under Post Installation Procedures, in Mapsoure Updates, install MapSource_6156.exe.

12. Delete the garmin folder at c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\garmin

Unlocking the Maps:

13. In the DVD, under Post Installation Procedures, you can use either JetMouse to unlock the maps or Garmin Unlocker.
Garmin Unlocker is easier. Simply copy the folder to c:\garmin, open the folder, and double-click on all.bat.
It will take several minutes. This unlocks the maps to ALL GPS units.

To use JetMouse, enter your unit ID at top. At the bottom, choose custom, and enter 450 for the map ID and generate at the bottom.
The number at the bottom is your unlock code for most units.

14. Use Mapsoure to install maps to your GPS unit or Mapinstall.





Just remember that Vista users will need to look in c:\programdata\garmin\maps for the same info noted above in the instructions.

Also keep in mind I resaved the conv613.bat file to conv615.bat to reflect the updated MapSource version.
