Time: the 21st century. Place: Gotham City. Times have changed, the city has changed, people have changed. Bruce Wayne is an old man. He has given up the mantle of the Bat, as well as leadership of Wayne Enterprises.
But the problems of Gotham remain the same. Gangs strike terror into the hearts of good citizens. Corruption runs rampant in the most powerful corporations.
Gotham needs a new hero.

Enter Terry McGinnis. A high school student who stumbles across the secrets of Bruce Wayne's past, Terry becomes the new Batman, a high-tech hero in a new age. With a state-of-the-art batsuit, a flying Batmobile, the most advanced crime fighting gadgets, and an advisor with more then a little experience, Terry is ready to take the criminals of Gotham head on.
