The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack follows the tale of a boy named Flapjack who is raised by a whale named Bubbie. Upon meeting a pirate named Captain K?nuckles, Flapjack and Bubbie decide to go on some of the adventures that their new pirate friend told them about. However, they soon start hanging out in a nearby harbor where they earn candy money and get into a lot of trouble.

Several Leagues Below the Sea: After meeting an eccentric inventor who claims to have created the fastest whale in the seven seas, Flapjack challenges the inventor to race his whale against Bubbie.

Eye Sea You: After spending a boring day with Captain K?nuckles, Flapjack decides to spy on Bubbie to figure out what she does everyday. Spending a week spying on her, Flapjack learns a shocking secret that Bubbie is trying to hide.

Kid Nickels: While playing cards with a group of tough sailors, K?nuckles loses Flapjack as a friend after the boy finds out his best friend bet him on the winning hand. As a result, K?nuckles gets a new friend in Kid Nickels whilst Flapjack looks for a new role model.

The Sweet Life: After visiting the town wishing well, hoping to find some candy money, Flapjack and K?nuckles come across Lady Nickelbottoms, who K?nuckles asks to turn his young friend into a proper young man so he can eat all of her candy.
